The Neutron Lifetime Resolution

Abstract

This replication package introduces the bounded leakage mechanism predicted by the Emergent Geometric Necessity (EGN) framework as a deterministic explanation for the long standing neutron lifetime discrepancy between beam and bottle experiments. The model derives the leakage term from a pair of geometric activation gates—strain activation G(ξ)and stiffness response H(Ω^2,μ)—and demonstrates that high strain beam conditions yield a finite Δτ, while sub threshold pulsed beam conditions collapse the anomaly to zero. The replication scripts included here compute these scenarios directly (with no free parameters), showing that the EGN operator produces the correct qualitative separation between the two experimental regimes. This release is intended for immediate independent testing, verification, and adversarial replication by researchers in nuclear physics, quantum foundations, and geometric field theory.
