Abstract

This project hosts the preprint of an academic paper introducing the Cognitive Passport Protocol (CPP), a theoretical and computational framework for verifying human cognitive continuity in human–AI co-creative environments. The work proposes the concept of cognitive texture—a compressible, topologically invariant representation of an individual’s reasoning structure derived from sustained dialogic interaction. Rather than authenticating identity through static credentials or behavioral markers, the framework addresses identity persistence at the level of cognitive structure and meta-cognitive dynamics. This project is made publicly available as a preprint to establish transparent authorship, temporal priority, and open scholarly access. The work is authored by Genya Nakayama (Independent Researcher, Japan) and is intended for dissemination prior to or in parallel with arXiv submission.
