Tigre Gente: Assessing the Impact of a Conservation Documentary using qualitive evidence
Abstract
This report provides an updated impact evaluation of the Tigre Gente project, a conservation initiative aimed at protecting jaguars in Bolivia. It applies a process tracing methodology to assess changes in public perception, policy response, and cross-cultural engagement stemming from the documentary and related workshops. The report presents evidence across three key pathways of the project's Theory of Change: (A) Working conditions for park rangers, (B) Cultural and ecological valorization of jaguars, and (C) Dialogue between Bolivian and Chinese communities.
