Representación visual de rituales de consumo asociados a la significación del tiempo: un estudio de caso de oferta y demanda en el espacio virtual
Abstract
Throughout history, humans have employed various visual expressive devices to grapple with the phenomenon of temporality. The use of diagrams facilitates the understanding of immanent time, that is, time as experienced by consciousness, intertwining temporality with subjectivity. As a semiotic mphenomenon, the signification of time as a subjective experience in the 21st century has become a determining factor in audience decisions regarding commercial transactions. Understanding the consumption rituals associated with the signification of time implies an experiential value and a compelling argumentative resource that influences purchasing processes. The objective is to analyze the significant power of time as a persuasive resource in online purchasing processes, whose advertising discourses are based on the signification of opportunity, urgency, and loss. This analysis aims to facilitate an understanding of the multidimensionality of consumption rituals through diagrammatic expressions, drawing on a semiopragmatic and phenomenological approach.
