Dünya dışı yaşam alanı tasarımında yaşanabilirliğin gereksinim temelli değerlendirmesi
Abstract
This study investigates habitability considerations in extraterrestrial architectural design by developing and applying a structured evaluation framework based on habitability design requirements. A literature review of eight sources, including NASA guidelines, technical reports, and books on habitability, was conducted to extract relevant requirements. The identified requirements were grouped into five categories, cross-checked across sources, consolidated to remove overlaps, with varying weights for mandatory requirements and recommendations. The proposed framework was applied to three extraterrestrial habitat case studies, which were scored based on the provision of requirement, criticality for mission operations and crew well-being and quantitative and qualitative specifications. The cases were evaluated in terms of category-level and overall fulfillment of habitability requirements. The validation of the framework showed higher scores for the realized habitat design and lower scores for the conceptual habitat design, confirming the applicability of the framework.
