Frege: One Hundred Years: Special Issue

The Special Issue proposed aims to pay tribute to Gottlob Frege, widely acknowledged as the father of contemporary logic and of logic as a philosophical discipline. Few authors, if any, have exerted a greater influence on the development of analytic philosophy throughout the twentieth century and beyond. At the same time, the issue seeks to offer a critical reassessment of Frege’s philosophy and of the many interpretations it has inspired since the publication of Begriffsschrift in 1879.
