La Cuatridimensión del Ser
Abstract
This paper presents La Cuatridimensión del Ser as an ontological-pedagogical model for teacher education and humanistic formation. The model conceives the human being as an interdependent articulation of four fundamental dimensions: physical, psychological, social, and transcendental. From a heuristic and integrative perspective, the proposal addresses the fragmentation of contemporary educational processes and argues for a systemic understanding of human development. The article develops the epistemological foundations of the model, its articulation with the Guatemalan National Curriculum Base and international educational frameworks, its cultural-hermeneutic grounding, and its praxeological application in higher education contexts. Particular attention is given to the role of meaning, purpose, and material conditions in professional formation, especially in contexts of social vulnerability and crisis. Rather than offering a closed or exhaustive framework, the Cuatridimensión del Ser is proposed as an open conceptual platform that invites critical dialogue between ontology, pedagogy, and educational practice. The model is intended as a foundational reference for subsequent theoretical developments, including the formulation of neuroconnectivism as a learning theory and the systematization of replicable pedagogical techniques aimed at educational dissemination and transformation.
