Canonical Coherence Dynamics and the Bridge: Laws, Diagnostics, and Instrument Structure
Abstract
Description This paper presents the complete canonical structure of the coherence framework and its operational realization through The Bridge diagnostic instrument set. It unifies the foundational constraint laws with their corresponding diagnostics, establishing a closed, observer-invariant system for evaluating coherence, fragmentation, and trajectory across complex systems. The canonical core consists of formally defined laws governing coherence behavior, signal transmission, and collapse under load. These laws are descriptive, falsifiable, and domain-agnostic. They do not predict outcomes, assign intent, or prescribe decisions. Instead, they define invariant limits on organized motion and stability in physical, biological, social, and institutional systems. The Bridge translates these laws into applied diagnostics by providing a structured set of measurement tools, including alignment, fragmentation, transparency, internal misalignment, and trajectory diagnostics. Together, these instruments allow independent observers to evaluate system state using externally observable evidence without post-hoc tuning or interpretive discretion. This paper clarifies the separation between law, diagnostic, and domain interpretation, and documents how the diagnostic instruments map directly onto the canonical laws without redundancy or circularity. It serves as the authoritative reference for the theoretical foundation and operational structure of the framework. This work is complete, closed, and stable. Subsequent papers address domain-specific applications and interpretive translations, not modifications of the canonical system.
