Abstract

This thesis assesses Advanced Air Mobility use cases and logistics networks in healthcare addressing the growing mobility needs due to healthcare system change. It categorizes mobility needs, assesses the best-suited eVTOL archetypes, and introduces a decision framework to identify promising use cases. Then, the AAM potential for the German and Austrian organ transplantation system is analyzed. Lastly, an agent-based network simulation for UAV-based logistics networks is introduced and applied to a real-world laboratory samples network.
