Abstract

Switching work models have been adopted in the Indian corporate sector, with hybrid and remote arrangements adopted as prevalent work arrangements in the ever-growing technology industry of India (Psychologs, 2025). Although this transition has provided many advantages, it has also increased techno-stress and digital fatigue among employees (Psychologs, 2025). These issues harm employee wellbeing, engagement, and work productivity, representing significant hurdles for organizations (Psychologs, 2025). CBIs specifically have been shown to be effective in this context since they facilitate adapting unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors. Successful CBIs must, however, be grounded in the understanding of India's unique cultural context which encompasses particular values, gaps in digital infrastructure, and stigma around mental health (Center for Sustainable Development, 2025); However, the existing literature exhibits a significant research lacuna regarding the direct application and cultural adaptation of CBIs for the Indian corporate sector context. This report seeks to fill that void, examining how culturally tuned CBI protocols can power across digital well-being and create a more engaged workforce in India. It highlights important research gaps and proposes culturally relevant adaptations and novel applications of CBIs to the Indian corporate world. These modified CBI protocols need to be developed and a rigorous study should be conducted on these to introduce the evidence-based solutions for a healthy and efficient workforce in India.
