Abstract
Abstract: The sayings-doings-relatings model, developed by Kemmis, McTaggart, and Nixon, allows for a critical analysis of educational practices by considering the discourses, actions, and relationships that shape them within specific socio-material contexts. A qualitative approach based on conceptual analysis and case study is employed, using participatory observation and collective reflection to examine an educational practice through critical participatory action research. The analysis reveals how sayings legitimize naturalized routines, doings reproduce unsustainable practices, and relatings maintain hierarchical relationships that limit participation. Furthermore, irrational and unjust elements are identified that affect the coherence, sustainability, and fairness of the practice. The model is consolidated as a formative and emancipatory tool that guides processes of pedagogical transformation by articulating critical reflection, collective action, and the reconfiguration of educational practices.
