Abstract

This project corresponds to a scoping review aimed at mapping and synthesising the available evidence on the use of predictive models and big data approaches to assess the impact of climate change on the incidence of vector-borne diseases, particularly dengue, malaria and leishmaniasis, with an emphasis on low- and middle-income countries. The review will be conducted in accordance with the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology for scoping reviews and will be reported following the PRISMA-ScR guidelines. The purpose of this protocol is to ensure transparency, methodological rigour and reproducibility of the review process, including the search strategy, eligibility criteria and data extraction methods.
