Abstract

As digitalization rises in the Global South, this dissertation examines e-waste management in India and Ghana using urban, systemic, and behavioral lenses. Case studies in India and Ghana reveal institutional gaps, informal sector dominance, and behavioral drivers of disposal. It offers insights into inclusive, sustainable e-waste management and supports circular economy transitions in underexplored contexts.
