Abstract

This preprint is an independent, early-stage contribution, presenting a conceptual framework of Objective Dependency Power. It is deliberately preliminary and exploratory, intended as a structural diagnostic for understanding how power concentrates and ethical norms can fail in complex social systems. Desire, Power, and Ethics is an ongoing, exploratory middle-level theoretical framework intended as a conceptual reference for AI alignment and the study of social power structures. This work is primarily a philosophical and thought-experiment-driven project, drawing on insights from psychology, phenomenology, semiotics, and sociology. It is not based on field research or empirical study, but rather on structured reasoning and model-building. The project aims to provide a diagnostic perspective on how ethical norms, institutional procedures, and technical systems interact with recursive power structures. Its goal is to support conceptual understanding and inspire further investigation in decentralized organizations, cooperatives, and other collaborative social systems. By sharing this framework openly, the author hopes to contribute value to researchers, practitioners, and communities seeking to navigate complex coordination challenges.
