Abstract

The Info Session 2021 was the pilot study of similar procedures we ended up using for the impact of a light touch intervention The study was collected in Fall 2021. Parents completed a questionnaire (see materials in files) and then participated in a 5 minute play session with their four year old. At the end of the first session, the parent received information about either patterning or numeracy skills their four year old child could learn and examples for how to support them (~15 minutes). They returned for a follow up questionnaire and play session twoweeks later. The full deidentified dataset is included in files, along with a codebook which is incomplete, and never finished, but gives the labels of the variables and some information about the dataset as well as the FMS survey studies which used similar labels. Syntax files are also available for each analysis run. We include the scripts followed by the experimenters too. It helped develop our survey including the parent knowledge of early math development measure, and is included as Study 2 in our 2023 article about developing and validating our knowledge measure.
