Household Acid-Base TitraTion Analysis of Common Liquids
Abstract
This project investigates the acid concentration of common household liquids, including vinegar, lemon juice, and a carbonated beverage, using acid-base titration with standardized sodium hydroxide. The study was conducted as an independent upper-secondary level research project using accessible laboratory equipment. The findings demonstrate significant variation in acidity among household substances and highlight the effectiveness of titration for real-world chemical analysis.
