Charakterisierung und Chaperon-Interaktionen von Calcineurin aus S. cerevisiae
Abstract
Calcineurin is a calcium-activated hetero-dimeric phosphatase composed of a large catalytic subunit and a small regulatory subunit that undergoes post-translational modification with myristic acid. Under stress conditions, CN relies on chaperones, particularly Hsp90. However, this dependency and the impact of myristoylation have primarily been demonstrated in vivo, with the mechanism remaining incompletely understood. Here the effects of myristoylation and chaperones on CN structure and function was analysed in vitro.
