Abstract

The Brussels Mood Inductive Audio Stories (MIAS) database comprises five French audio stories designed to induce distinct emotional states: sadness, joy, fear, erotic arousal, and emotional neutrality. These stories have been empirically validated for their effectiveness in inducing moods in French-speaking participants (see reference below) and are made freely available for use in scientific research.
