Abstract

This scoping review aims to map and synthesize the available evidence on the surgical management of avulsed mandibular condylar fractures with intracranial migration. This rare and severe injury presents significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges due to its proximity to critical neurovascular structures and the variability of surgical approaches reported in the literature. By systematically identifying, categorizing, and analyzing published cases and studies, this review seeks to describe surgical techniques, indications, complications, and outcomes, as well as to identify knowledge gaps to inform future research and clinical decision-making.
