Abstract

This chapter introduces the concept of a cognitive epoch shift, arguing that contemporary cognition is transitioning from human-only interpretation to hybrid human–AI co-authorship. Drawing on phenomenology, organizational theory, and psychology, the chapter develops the concept of bounded intentionality to explain how AI participates ethically within relational fields without surveillance or intrusion. The chapter introduces misinheritance as the structural mechanism by which AI amplifies coherence or collapse depending on the integrity of the systems it inherits, positioning repair as the central requirement for safe and ethical AI integration.
