The Universal Definitional Loop (UDL): A Structural Constraint on Emergence, Stability, and Collapse Across Scales
Abstract
This project presents the Universal Definitional Loop (UDL), a domain-invariant theoretical framework modeling reality as a self-updating recursive process. Structures arise as temporary, locally stable closures under coupling and projection constraints. The project includes a formal manuscript, a qualitative cosmological simulation demonstrating persistent voids and filamentary structure, and supplementary materials. The work is intended as a structural constraint on valid explanations across cosmology, physics, biology, and cognition. Author: Michael Emery Hayden Jr.
