A2A and D2 Receptor Interaction Enhances Fatigue Resistance: Dataset Overview
Abstract
This dataset centers on the study of fatigue resistance through the examination of various pharmacological variables, including the use of Haloperidol at non-cataleptic doses, the application of systemic caffeine as both a psychostimulant and ergogenic agent, and the assessment of running power during treadmill tests. It also explores the impact of caffeine and Haloperidol on open field crossings and evaluates grip strength through metrics such as grip time and impulse. The investigation extends to fatigue resistance in grip tests, the role of locomotion in open field tests, and the specific antagonistic effects on A1 and A2A receptors through the administration of DPCPX and SCH-58261. Additionally, the dataset details the effects of SCH-58261 on enhancing locomotion and running power, its influence on the area under the curve (AUC) in grip tests, and its specific actions within the striatum. This compilation of variables offers a comprehensive overview of the factors influencing fatigue resistance, providing a foundational resource for further investigation in neuropsychopharmacology and ergogenic aid development.
