DANDELION CYPSELA III: Would You, Could You Apologise to the Sad Whales?

This zine documents a design research project developed as part of Synthetic Empathy, an ongoing research initiative we have been developing since last year. The first project in this research, “Would You, Could You Apologies to the Sad Whales?”, explores apology as a speculative design method for engaging with ecological responsibility. The project investigates how designing apologies to marine life, particularly cetaceans, might encourage reflection, care, and pro-environmental engagement. Based on our written research and investigation, this work was published as a zine featuring illustrations by Ellie Gibson.
