Abstract

The REphon-IA, the declination of the sociolinguistic and didactic project FRAPéOR, aims to create artificial intelligence in the form of an avatar capable of improving the pronunciation of French as a foreign language (FLE) based on the principles of the verbo-tonal method (MVT) of phonetic integration. The purpose of this paper is to present the project and the protocol for creating this adaptive and generative AI, specifying the variables to be taken into account in order to promote progressive, sustainable, effective and stimulating phonetic integration.
