Effiziente Inverse Analyse mit gekopppelten Modellen der numerischen Mechanik für Fluid-Biofilm Interaktion
Abstract
The modeling of biofilms and their interaction with a surrounding fluid flow is a coupled mechanical problem. The computational methods for fluid-structure interaction and on the experimental side, the observations of the deformation of biofilms have improved recently. In this work, the methodological foundation is laid to use observations on biofilms to build the best fitting mechanical models for biofilms. The search for the best fitting model for a desired result is called inverse analysis.
