Systematic Review: Dysfunctional parental cognitive and affective schemata in the context of child maltreatment
Abstract
This study aims at systematically reviewing the literature on the association between parental cognitive and affective risk factors and the risk of or the perpetration of child psychological maltreatment. This systematic review will enhance the understanding on the role of parental risk factors for child psychological maltreatment and expands the literature on child abuse and neglect risk assessment (CARA).
