Programmierung von Fettgewebe und Stoffwechsel in der Prä- und Postnatalen Entwicklung: Auswirkungen der mütterlichen Ernährung, postnataler Leptinspiegel und Umgebungstemperatur
Abstract
Maternal diet, the role of postnatal leptin and maternal ambient temperature were examined as effectors of adipose tissue development and later on susceptibility to obesity in mice. Maternal dietary intervention did neither induce lasting metabolic effects in adult offspring, nor on the browning potential of adipose tissue. Modulating the postnatal leptin surge resulted in no lasting effects on metabolic or hedonic control of energy homeostasis. Mild cold exposure during gestation and lactation emerged as an effective modulator of subcutaneous adipose tissue browning capacity in the adult offspring.
