Desalienar, descapitalizar y descolonizar la vida: el archivo de juegos de Francis Alÿs

The article analyzes the artistic work of Francis Alÿs Children's Games, presented at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Mexico City in 2023. Focused on documenting children from different countries playing in public spaces, this work constitutes an archive of a collective experience of openness to life and joy. The analysis creates a typology of play based on the studies of Robert Callois and Jean Piaget and proposes a methodology for critical, feminist, and decolonial analysis
