Abstract

Metastases are the main cause of mortality in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) but are inadequately understood. This study presents a novel bioinformatic module to analyze PDAC phylogenies and a large resource of mouse and human PDAC samples with multi-omic data. Confirming the strong association of increased gene dosage of mutant Kras (KrasiGD) with the metastatic phenotype, uncovering associated driver pathways, and shedding light on cell-intrinsic factors in organotropism.
