Component 3: Biological Stress Test and Metabolic Validation
Abstract
This component provides the empirical validation for the Scales Law by subjecting the framework to five distinct metabolic stress tests. Using the social huddle constant (ks = 0.22) and the huddle coefficient (h = N^2/3), this research calculates the specific biological thresholds for survival within the Rising Star Cave system. The tests analyze the energetic transition from a solo individual (N=1) to a social collective (N=5), demonstrating a nearly 65% reduction in individual caloric expenditure. This validation proves that the "Social Huddle" is not just a behavior, but a biological requirement for subterranean survival, explaining the presence of both adult and juvenile remains in deep-cave environments.
