Formación y creatividad: una relación de interdependencia en la escritura literaria
Abstract
In contrast to the uncritical view of writing performance, which places success almost exclusively on innate talent, this paper argues for the need to understand the interaction between talent and training from the concepts of the neo-Aristotelian tradition, and the movement for the rehabilitation of practical reason in the 20th century. To this end, it begins with state of the art of cognitive psychology studies on creativity, continues with the concept of “practice” according to the philosopher Alasdair MacIntyre, and concludes with a proposal for harmonizing creativity and practice based on the hermeneutic work of the philosopher Alejandro Vigo on freedom, meaning and rules in practical-operational contexts. It concludes that genuine creativity is essentially linked, in its objective conditions of deployment and realization, to regulated contexts, in which the reference to the purposes of the corresponding activity and the establishment of standardized procedural rules, provide the central points of orientation for the learning processes that lead to the complete mastery of the art.
