Abstract

Listening as Infrastructure is a series of white papers positioning listening as the foundation of system design. Attentive, intentional listening allows subjects to reveal themselves without coercion. Systems become intelligible when observed without bias or preconceptions. This project explores concepts such as nested time, dimension as a unified domain, and attentive listening as the basis for ecological, technological, societal, and economic frameworks.
