Abstract

MRI is a non-invasive imaging technique that can be enhanced by preparation pulses designed to optimize contrast based on tissue properties. The GRAPE algorithm is effective in pulse optimization but lacks accessible implementations. GrapeMR.jl, an open-source Julia package, addresses this while enhancing speed. It also incorporates automated hyperparameter tuning to automate the optimization process. Preliminary results show improved contrast, possibly advancing diagnostic precision in MRI.
