Abstract

Abstract. The material is devoted to an integrated approach to modeling renewable energy systems with an emphasis on the use of the System Advisor Model (SAM) software product from NREL in the educational process. The paper examines the theoretical foundations and practical tools for the analysis of wind, solar power plants and energy storage systems. It is aimed at developing future engineers' skills in working with real industrial standards and databases, ensuring the transition from theoretical formulas to the design of viable energy facilities.
