Abstract

Educational programming materials that combine narrative explanations with executable code examples require continuous maintenance to remain correct, consistent, and usable. As such materials evolve, undetected regressions in code examples or inconsistencies between source code and documentation can significantly hinder learning progress. At the same time, maintaining openness for user feedback while preserving editorial control presents additional challenges. This thesis presents the design and implementation of a GitHub-based infrastructure for managing, validating, and publishing programming-related learning materials. The proposed solution employs a dual-repository architecture that separates public feedback from internal editorial workflows.Automated validation is implemented using continuous integration techniques to ensure the technical correctness of executable code examples, while publication remains a deliberate, editor-controlled process.Structured feedback collection is supported through enforced issue templates and automated synchronization mechanisms. The infrastructure is evaluated through an implementation-based assessment, analyzing its behavior with respect to validation, feedback handling, publication, and maintainability. The results indicate that the proposed approach effectively reduces manual maintenance effort while maintaining transparency and editorial authority, providing a reusable blueprint for similar educational contexts.
