Abstract

This guide includes several simple soil analysis tests, including those for texture, water infiltration, compaction, structure, root development, biological activity, odor, pH, hydrogen peroxide content, color and aggregate stability. It describes the steps to follow, and the materials needed for each test in detail, as well as how to interpret the results and improve the soil.
