O estudo das práticas estéticas na revista REDES: um espaço vago e o potencial de um quase-grupo
Abstract
This paper analyzes articles published in REDES. Hispanic Journal for the Analysis of Social Networks, which used SNA (Social Network Analysis) to study different aesthetic practices. It covers ten papers in relation to arts, crafts and design written by twenty authors from four countries. Each article investigated the implemented strategy, the theoretical concepts used, and the frequency of the 271 authors cited in their bibliography. Finally, the total production of the twenty authors (908 publications) was reviewed to understand the significance of SNA in their academic work. It is concluded that the use of social network analysis for the study of artistic practices is still a research gap, and that the twenty authors mentioned are part of a quasi-group with common interests.
