Abstract
Disinformation is a phenomenon that has transformed the world of communication. It's found in many forms and its consequences are intensified depending on how communities receive and spread it (European Commission, 2018). The massive increase in hoaxes caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 (García-Marín, 2020) was only the beginning of a global growth in the spread of false or misleading content.
