Through the Eyes of a POC

REFLECTIVE MEMO: I really enjoyed developing this piece because I love writing poems and being able to express myself with using words in a creative way .Being able to have the opportunity to express what I go through daily on Cal Poly's campus allowed me to create a beautiful and empowering piece .I like that my poem gives a voice for the 1% of African American students on campus as well as other students of color .The only challenge I ran into was making sure that I really delivered a message but I can say I am very confident I did .
