Abstract

In technological productions for removing components from various materials that evaporate easily, a special place is occupied by the processes of continuous thermal treatment of raw materials in thin films of flowing liquids. Film flow usually refers to the movement of a thin layer of liquid along a solid wall, in which the outer surface of the film remains free. In the chemical and food industries, one often has to deal with substances that can only be processed in thin layers, in particular the production of certain types of plastics and organ silicon products, the evaporation of food products sensitive to high temperatures, the heating and concentration of substances that can burn and polymerize upon prolonged contact with a heating surface, etc. Film evaporators and distillers are widely used in the production of yeast, juices, epoxy resins, petroleum products, etc. These devices have proven themselves especially well for processing products prone to foaming and crystallization. When heating and evaporating chemical and food products in film evaporators, due to short-term contact with the heating surface, all chemical properties of the substance are preserved, and in food products – vitamins. The choice of the optimal mode for removing components that evaporate easily and its hardware design are directly related to the product being processed. One of the most important factors in the concentration process is the thermo physical properties, such as kinematic viscosity, specific heat, and density. Therefore, these indicators are used in assessing technological efficiency. It is known that the main advantage of graphical models is their clarity, and analytical models are their accuracy. The combination of these approaches provides the corresponding integral effect. The progressive direction is the implementation of the latter in the form of appropriate modern computer tools. Effective processing of experimental results allows not only to verify the scientific provisions in practice, but also to determine the further development of theoretical knowledge in the necessary way. This article presents the application of graphical analytical computer modelling in the study of the thermo physical properties of processed products with concentration in rotary film apparatuses.
