Abstract

In recent decades, the development of digital technologies has significantly transformed the processes of creation, production, and dissemination in the artistic field, giving rise to new forms of expression and greater integration between art and technology. This transformation has directly impacted the different areas of Fine Arts, modifying both traditional practices and contemporary models of creation. The objective of this study was to identify the main technological innovations applied in the various disciplines of Fine Arts, as well as to analyze their benefits, challenges, and the changes generated in relation to traditional artistic practices. The research was conducted under a qualitative, descriptive, and documentary approach, based on a bibliographic review of scientific literature. The results show that several artistic disciplines have incorporated tools such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, 3D printing, editing software, three-dimensional modeling, and digital platforms, which has promoted the democratization of access to creation, strengthened innovation, and expanded artistic languages. However, challenges related to technical training, the redefinition of authorship, ethical and legal risks, technological dependence, and the tension between traditional and digital practices were also identified. It is concluded that achieving a balance between technological innovation and artistic tradition is essential to preserve the cultural and expressive value of Fine Arts in contemporary society.
