СВІТОГЛЯДНО-ФІЛОСОФСЬКІ АСПЕКТИ СПОРТИВНОЇ ДІЯЛЬНОСТІ
Abstract
The paper explores sports activity from philosophical and worldview perspectives as a phenomenon that is self-actualizing and self-developing in modern social practices. It is noted that sports activity embodies such values as health, justice, equality, freedom of choice, and competitiveness. In setting goals to achieve athletic results, an individual cultivates willpower, acquires new knowledge, learns to overcome difficulties, and concentrates efforts in a specific direction. It is emphasized that sports activity appears, on the one hand, as an individual life priority grounded in health-preserving practices and values, and on the other hand – as a manifestation of public social existence based on spectacle, competition, play, and emotional experiences. It is argued that the social role of sports activity is objectively increasing against the backdrop of contemporary social realities.
