Abstract

In this study, we investigate whether the experience of continuous vibration impacts on task performance and the attentional focus. Therefore, we compared the performance in a temporal flanker task across three vibration conditions (no vibration, vibration with constant frequency and amplitude, and vibration with random frequency and amplitude). Additionally, we assessed whether introspective performance differs under conditions with vibration and whether experienced vibration comfort and discomfort correlate with actual task performance.
