Implementação de um Sistema Centralizado de Gestão de Logs com Wazuh para a Universidade Aberta

This paper describes the experimental implementation of a centralized log management system based on the open-source Wazuh platform, developed within the context of Universidade Aberta. The main goal was to study and configure a distributed solution capable of consolidating and monitoring security data from multiple sources, contributing to the early detection of anomalies and the strengthening of institutional cybersecurity. The methodology involved designing a three-layer architecture (Wazuh Manager, Indexer, and Dashboard) in a cloud environment, with communication validation and analysis of simulated logs. The results demonstrate the feasibility of the solution and highlight its potential for future integration with Universidade Aberta’s real systems.
