Comprehensive assessment of pediatric SARS-CoV-2 infection

Abstract

The study is a population-based study of Danish children with SARS-CoV-2 infection. Using the Danish national health registries, we will describe time trends in infection rates and hospitalizations throughout the epidemic and describe clinical characteristics of pediatric SARS-CoV-2 cases. We will examine the risk of hospitalization, intensive care unit admission as well as acute and delayed health care outcomes after SARS-CoV2 infection comparing cases to a cohort of SARS-CoV-2 negative children.
