Personality Traits in Fibromyalgia: Aggravators and Attenuators of Clinical Symptoms and Medication Use
Abstract
The aim of this study was to assess the associations between the traits of H.J. Eysenck's personality model and medication use (antidepressants, anxiolytics, non-opioid analgesics and opioids) in patients with FMS. The severity of clinical symptoms and comorbid depression and anxiety disorders were evaluated for their potential mediation and moderation effects on these associations.
