Phillip B. AXS: A Systems-Level Organizational Framework for Neuromuscular Responsiveness
Abstract
Phillip B. AXS is a systems-level organizational framework that synthesizes established principles of neurophysiology and muscle physiology into a unified hierarchical model of neuromuscular responsiveness. Rather than proposing new biological mechanisms, diagnostic constructs, or therapeutic applications, the framework organizes well-characterized processes—including ion gradient integrity, membrane excitability, calcium-mediated gating, temporal threshold regulation, network coordination, structural expression, and recovery dynamics—into a coherent explanatory sequence. The purpose of this work is pedagogical and conceptual. Phillip B. AXS is intended to support systems-level reasoning, cross-disciplinary communication, and integrative understanding across molecular, cellular, tissue, and network scales. The framework emphasizes timing, regulatory alignment, and hierarchical dependency as central determinants of functional responsiveness within known physiological limits. This project is descriptive and organizational in nature. It does not generate quantitative predictions, prescribe interventions, or replace existing mechanistic or experimental models. By preserving clear boundary conditions and emphasizing synthesis over novelty, Phillip B. AXS provides a stable conceptual scaffold for education, theoretical discussion, and future hypothesis development.
