Radiological findings and healthcare utilization patterns in Intimate Partner Violence: protocol for a scoping review
Abstract
Intimate partner violence (IPV) represents a diagnostic challenge, particularly when there is no explicit disclosure by the victim. Radiology can play a key role in the early detection of IPV by identifying injury patterns and healthcare utilization patterns. We aim to identify and describe the published literature about intimate partner violence in the radiological context, including injury patterns and healthcare utilization, screening tools and predictive approaches
