How to Handshake

Reflective Memo: I had mixed feelings about writing this first essay.Part of me loved it, because I enjoy finding the small and simple moments that have really made an impact in my life.I like thinking about these experiences and exploring what they mean to me.On the other hand, I struggled with my focus on this essay.I was not too sure if my story was truly getting my point across to the readers.Handshakes do mean a lot to me, but I had a hard time explaining why they are so significant to me in words on paper.In addition, I had a hard time finding places to use descriptive and vivid language due to the fact that my story mainly consisted of dialogue and reflection.It was very nerve-racking writing my first college essay.I'm not quite sure if my writing is developed enough yet for college-level English classes.I always did well in my high school writing classes, but the stakes seem much higher now.
