Sports hall
Abstract
This diploma thesis focuses on preparing the Detailed Design Documentation for a new sports hall situated in Vodňany, South Bohemia. The building is designed to be fully barrier-free (accessible) and primarily serves as a training facility for local sports clubs. The size of the playing area complies with the established standards for all ball sports. The spatial layout includes the main sports hall, a café, and welfare facilities on the Ground Floor. The First Floor accommodates a gym, a gymnastics hall, dedicated changing rooms, and an administrative section. The technical facilities for the hall are located in the Basement (1. PP). The structural design incorporates a system of load-bearing monolithic reinforced concrete structures. The roof is designed as an extensive green roof, supported by solid web glued laminated timber beams (glulam beams). The façade is designed as a ventilated rainscreen, and photovoltaic panels are integrated on its south elevation. The proposal also includes site development, notably the addition of a new skate bowl and a small basketball court.
